Professional Experience:
Welcome to Green Design STEAM Academy! With great pleasure, I serve as your assistant principal under the leadership of Mr. Chavez, Principal. This is my first year at Green Design, but I have been serving the students, families, and community of South Los Angeles for the past 16 years. I began my career in education as a paraprofessional at Miramonte Elementary School. I then taught social studies for 10 years at John C. Fremont Senior High. In 2020, I transitioned to an out-of-classroom position and served as Title 1 Coordinator, EL Designee, SSPT Designee, and Technology Coordinator. I am thrilled to work at Green Design and continue to serve the students and families in my community.
